Power Macintosh
Power Macintosh简称Power Mac，通常指使用Power PC处理器（CPU）（简称PPC）的苹果桌上型电脑，苹果公司在1994年推出了第一代Power Macintosh桌上型电脑，型号为6100、7100、8100。严格讲这几部机器只是将原先使用Motorola 68040中央处理器的机种换成使用 PowerPC，例如Power Macintosh 6100跟Centris 610的机壳几乎一模一样，而且当时 PowerPC 原生码的软件极少（甚至连系统软件都不是百分之百的PowerPC 原生码），所以内建于这些机器里面模拟器（可以模拟68020）就让这些机器可以运行多数为Motorola 68000系列处理器所撰写的软件，速度并不会比前一代使用68040处理器的机器慢。不过因为内建模拟器并不能模拟浮点运算，所以一些要求浮点运算的软件只好利用浮点运算模拟软件来执行，效率极差。不过多数的软件很快推出PowerPC 版本，而使用68040处理器的最后一部桌上型Macintosh（LC 630 DOS Compatible）也在1996年4月13日正式停产。
于1999年推出了Power Mac G3，使用者常称之为蓝白机，并于同年推出了Power Mac G4。
于2004年6月推出了Power Mac G5，也是苹果公司的最后一款使用Power PC处理器的桌上型电脑。
继承
英特尔核心的Mac Pro继承了Power Macintosh。
