Microsoft Expression Studio是微软针对开发者与设计师开发的设计与媒体套件应用程式，其中包含：

• Microsoft Expression Web(开发代号Quartz) - 所见即所得网站设计器与HTML编辑器
• Microsoft Expression Blend(开发代号Sparkle) - 视觉化制作Windows Presentation Foundation应用程式的用户界面
• Microsoft Expression Design(开发代号Acrylic) - 点阵与向量图像编辑器
• Microsoft Expression Media - 数位资产与媒体管理器
• Microsoft Expression Encoder - VC-1内容编码器

概要

在该些产品中Expression Blend、Expression Design与Expression Encoder均使用Windows Presentation Foundation编写。Expression Web是Microsoft FrontPage的后继者，但其功能明显与FrontPage不同，如使用自己的渲染引擎而不是Internet Explorer的Trident排版引擎，所有FrontPage插件与功能亦被移除。Expression Media主要是基于其前身，微软在2006年7月收购的iView Media。Expression Design所使用的技术亦是基于以前收购的产品Creature House Expression，但以WPF完全的重新编写。

微软在2005年9月16日洛杉矶专业开发人员大会上展示Expression以及在2007年传播媒体展上展示Expression Encoder。
