Installer是包含在Mac OS X里面的一个应用程式，用来从.pkg封装档解开和安装档案，是由苹果电脑所创造出来帮助作者产生统一的软件安装程式。
Installer位于麦金塔电脑的工具（Utilities）资料夹中，且当封装档打开的时候就会启动执行。安装的过程在本质上本身可以非常的多样化，向它允许发展者自订向使用者展现的资讯-比如说在启动执行Installer时可以显示订做的Welcome.rtf、License.txt或Readme.rtfd档案。Installer也会在开始安装他们之前作封装的检查，以及允许安装的档案之版本查核。
