网络资讯服务
网络资讯服务简称 NIS（Network Information System），时又译为网络资料服务协定，亦即一般简称之“黄页”YP（Yellow Pages），最早由升阳公司开发出来，为一套用来管理电脑网络中所有与电脑系统管理相关之设定档，如使用者帐号、密码、主机名称或群组等的主从式目录服务协定。
由于 NIS 推出时的旧有名字 "Yellow page"“黄页”已为英国电信集团注册为该公司商业电话名录的商标，故升阳将之改名为 NIS，然而所有的指令及函式命名仍以原缩写 "yp" 为起首。
在许多环境下，已有其他目录服务比 NIS 更先进、更安全，例如 LDAP 就已经逐渐取代 NIS。
