大型计算机 （正體）

大型机（mainframe）是指system/360 开始的一系列的IBM计算机及兼容的计算机，最初是指那些装在带框的大铁盒子里的大型计算机系统，用来同小一些的小型机和个人计算机有所区别。

大型机系统长盛不衰的原因是：RAS（Reliability, Availability, Serviceability 高可靠性、高可用性、高服务性），I/O处理能力以及ISA。
