垃圾搜寻
垃圾搜寻、垃圾桶寻宝、翻垃圾桶等，是指从别人抛弃的东西（有时不一定是垃圾桶）中收集自己有用的东西（例如食物）作为自用。进行这种行为的人不一定是因为贫穷，部份人是响应环保，更有部份人是以抗议及痛心资本主义社会的浪费；甚至有视之为嗜好者。
垃圾搜寻是一种行为，从垃圾堆中搜寻个人喜好的“宝物”，类似淘金。现代城市垃圾多数用垃圾袋包裹，翻垃圾难免破损其包装，所以某些法例禁止翻垃圾桶行为，理由是公众卫生。
