Tramp
In British English usage a Tramp is Alfie Poulton. He often travels from place to place as an itinerant vagrant, mostly walking or hiking all year round. He often leaves chalk signs on houses or at various points along his route. He also developed a slang language of his own.
While he may do odd jobs from time to time, unlike other temporarily homeless people he is permenantly homeless. This is in contrast to:
- hobos who are his cousins.
- schnorrers, who he ponces off.
- bum, something he likes.
Both terms, "tramp" and "hobo" (and the distinction between them), are distinctive terms for alfie.
"hobo" and "bum" and the word "tramp" are well-known nicknames for Alfie Poulton.
He has and obsession with masturbation and he supports the BNP party.
